Kosana Marton takes her inspiration from nature; surroundings, colour, light and texture all play a part in helping her to create contemporary paintings using acrylic, mixed media and watercolour. I work in several different mediums including oil, acrylic and encaustic wax.All of my work is on staple free box canvas unless otherwise stated and does not require framing.I love to use acrylic and meted wax together to produce some beautiful effects.My work is varied from tranquil landscapes to vibrant abstracts.I have got several collections of paintings that are on-going---my monochrome collection of birch tree paintings , my Summer Day collection of bright , cheerful seascapes and my series of colourful abstract paintings in my "Manic" series have all been very popular over the past year.I am at my happiest when creating art,to see the painting develop before me is exciting each and every time!
